Ficam o reconhecimento e a partilha públicos.
"I'm always amazed by the complete and utter pointlessness of life itself, the great mystery of all the really big questions - why are we here and how did we get here. (...) But then, something that amazes me equally, is the amazing comfort that we can get through human contact. A long beautiful dinner with close friends, or a party with a good 'crowd', a chat, a romance, even a simple warm smile... and things - even if they don't make sense - seem worth it. The amount of compensation that the latter can give for the former amazes me. In a strange way, it is the horrifying pointlessness of life that makes me love it so much. Or rather the human reaction to it - the fact that we can take so much consolation from insanely small things. Because in reality nothing can ever compensate for the fundamental meaningless of life." Obrigada, L.
"You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. (...) With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy.” by Max Ehrman, "Desiderata". Obrigada, N.

2 Somethin' Else:
The last quote: a punch in the stomach.
I know. Felt 'xactly the same when I read it. Specially for an atheist as cynical as I am... I'll forward the whole thing to your email.
